If you have a Real Estate website, you need to rank higher to get more customers. SEO (Search engine optimization) is one of the best ways to rank higher on search result pages.

However, there are many types of SEO, and adding schema markup is one of them. Schema markup helps us increase our website ranking and CTR.

In this article, we will learn how you can easily add Real Estate schema to your WordPress website with a plugin.

What is Real Estate Schema?

To understand what Real Estate schema is, you have to learn what schema is. Schema, also known as structured data, is a type of microdata that helps search engines like google understand our website content more in-depth.

There are 80+ schema types out there like Recipe schema, product schema, FAQ schema, etc… RealEstateListing schema is one of them.

Let’s understand with an example:

Example of real estate schema

I Googled homes for sale in Mumbai, and now you can see the results are appearing extraordinarily. You can see the BHK types like 2BHK, 3BHK, etc. Along with time lease, location, etc.

This is how Real Estate schema markup can help you stand out in SERPs.

Benefits of Schema Markup:

  • Schema help increase CTR and Website traffic
  • Better ranking in SERPs (Search result pages)
  • Schema data help search engines understand our site’s content better
  • Increase CTR by grabbing attention with rich results

Importance of Realestate Schema in SEO

There are 4 types of SEO techniques (On-page, Off-page, local, and technical SEO) to boost your website ranking on Google. Schema markup comes from the Technical SEO category.

Schema markup helps search engines to understand our website content better and can provide rich information to the searchers without entering the website as I mentioned earlier.

When Google has much info about your content, you are about to stand out to rank higher in SERPs (search engine result pages). When Google provides rich results of your blog pots or article, probably your site will get more clicks and it will increase CTR. And when your article or blog posts get more clicks amongst your competitor, your site ranks effectively for sure.

In my opinion, schema markup is a must-do thing for those who have a local business like a restaurant, services in a specific area, etc. It will help you bring more customers and leads.

No going away from our main topic, so we’re just going to leave a video where you can learn a lot about Real Estate schema:

How to Add Real Estate Schema?

Let’s learn how you can implement Real Estate schema markup to your WordPress website. There are 3 ways you can add Real Estate schema markup to your Real Estate website:

One of the easiest ways to add any schema markup to your WordPress website is using a WordPress plugin. If you are not a technically savvy person, you should go with the WordPress plugin option way that we will learn in this article.

There are lots of free and paid plugins to add Real Estate schema to your site. But Real Estate Schema (a premium add-on of Structured data for WP and AMP) is one of the best structured data plugins. This plugin will automatically add schema to your website.

This plugin is compatible with the below-listed plugins and themes so it can automatically detect and add Real estate schema to your articles:

  1. RealHomes – Estate Sale and Rental WordPress Theme
  2. Homeland – Responsive Real Estate Theme for WordPress
  3. WP Residence Theme
  4. ClassiPress theme
  5. WP Pro RealEstate-5 plugin
  6. MyHome theme

It means if you are using these plugins/themes on your website, this plugin will automatically fetch and add the Real Estate schema to your articles. You just have to set up it once.

If you are not using any of the above-given plugins or themes, No worries you don’t have to switch your plugin or theme. If you purchase their Real Estate premium plugin, they will set up it with your theme or plugin at no extra cost or we can say for FREE. So that after they set up it, the plugin will fetch and add schema automatically.

Let’s do it practically, I gonna add Real Estate schema to a website where we use 3 of our compatible themes one by one. We also check our schema with the schema testing tool to see whether our schema is working or not.

Start with the MyHome Real Estate WordPress theme.
